      Crossing Currents

  • Provides online, interactive classes. Students are not left wondering how to apply what they learn or how to assess information. Ongoing opportunity to dialogue with instructors continues even after completing a Crossing Currents class.
  • Encourages parents of teens to read along with the students. Parents have access to curriculum, class discussions, and the instructors for questions or clarification.
  • Teaches practical application along with a well-rounded, multi-method approach to apologetics. This increases the chances of being able to address new philosophies that become popular.
  • Blends intellect and imagination for a more comprehensive approach to learning truth. Instead of relying strictly on rational arguments, students are encouraged to love the Lord with their heart, soul, and strength as well as their minds. (Luke 10:27)
  • Focuses on how to think instead of what to think.
  • Fits well with the classical education model.

"The best way to help teenagers learn how to defend their faith often is through probing questions and interaction rather than 'preaching' or lectures....Without application, apologetics is often simply a head game that makes little difference in their lives so we must provide supervised opportunities for them to apply what they have learned in real-world situations." Sean McDowell, Christian Research Journal
